Overview SSM Health Rehabilitation-Acute Care At St. Joseph Hospital West- Lake St. Louis, MO Physical Therapist Assistant - Full Time Orthopedic experience preferred SSM Health Rehabilitation-Acute Care at St. Joseph Hospital West is seeking a Full Time Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Lake St. Louis, MO! Established in 1986, SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - Lake Saint Louis offers residents of western St. Charles, Lincoln, and Warren Counties exceptional health care close to home. Our 216-bed hospital is a state-designated Level III Trauma Center, a Level II Time Critical Diagnosis STEMI Center and specializes in obstetric and pediatric care, as well as many other specialties. Responsible for delegation and direction of supportive personnel for those assigned patients, in order to enhance patient care services. Consistently communicates with supervising PT in regard to scheduled patients to ensure identification of need for assessment and reassessment of patients, modification of treatment plans and other interventions requiring therapist direction. Participates in education of patients, families, students, coworkers and self. Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, within the scope of practice.
Qualifications Education:
Associate's Degree in a PT Assistant program required. Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) required. Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
