Competitive hourly rate (based on experience) About Us Barton County PT & Wellness is the only private practice physical therapy clinic in Barton County, dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our rural community. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment where patients receive one-on-one attention and personalized treatment plans. We are growing and looking for a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team and be part of an exciting phase of expansion. Position Overview The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide exceptional care and help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. This role offers the opportunity to build strong patient relationships and make a meaningful impact in a close-knit community. Responsibilities Implement treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist Provide hands-on therapy including therapeutic exercise, manual techniques, and functional training Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT Educate patients and families on exercises and home programs Maintain accurate and timely documentation Ensure a positive, professional patient experience Assist with clinic flow and daily operations as needed Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current Missouri PTA license (or eligible) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Outpatient or orthopedic experience preferred, but not required What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Flexible scheduling Supportive, team-oriented environment Opportunity to grow with a locally owned private practice One-on-one patient care model Potential involvement in future wellness and fitness expansion Why Join Us?
