Aspire Senior Living New Florence - New Florence, MO Aspire Senior Living New Florence is a leading long-term care facility dedicated to providing exceptional rehabilitation and skilled nursing care. Our Rehab team is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who is passionate about enhancing the quality of life for our residents through individualized therapy programs and compassionate support. Under the supervision, our Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to residents, assist with treatment plans, and promote functional independence. Key Responsibilities:
Implement treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist to improve mobility, strength, and coordination. Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and other activities based on resident needs. Monitor and document progress, reporting any changes to the Physical Therapist. Educate residents, families, and caregivers on exercises and safety techniques. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive resident care. Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a PTA. Previous experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
