Full Time Physical Therapy Assistant

TriVista Rehab is a contract rehab company and outpatient therapy provider. We empower independence for our therapists and the patients that we serve. TriVista Rehab provides PT, OT, and SLP services to seniors in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and the home. Physical Therapist Assistants work under the direction of Physical Therapists to help patients with physical injuries or illnesses to regain range of movement, mobility and control their pain. Physical Therapist Assistants follow plans created by PTs that involve stretching, strength training, exercises, and physical manipulation to help people recover after illness or injury. We are looking for a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to work at our gyms within Assisted Living and Senior Independent Living Facilies in the Laurel/Ellisville, MS area.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Appropriate degree from a Physical Therapist Assistant program at an accredited university.
• Current state licensure.
• BLS/health provider CPR
• At least two years of experience with the senior/geriatric population.
• Strives to positively represent their discipline and TriVista Rehab in the community.

SECONDARY LOCATIONS

Ellisville, MS & occasionally Hattiesburg, MS area Responsibilities Implements individualized patient care plans, focusing on geriatric populations. Monitor patient progress and document changes in their condition. Collaborate with healthcare professionals in Assisted Living facilities and to ensure comprehensive care. Educate patients and families about treatment plans and exercises for optimal recovery. Adhere to medical terminology and maintain compliance with BLS certification standards.
