Dahl Memorial Healthcare Association is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in beautiful southeastern Montana. This position offers the unique opportunity to work closely with patients across the lifespan in a rural healthcare setting where you can truly see the impact of your work. As a PTA, you will partner with our Physical Therapist to help patients regain mobility, improve function, reduce pain, and achieve their rehabilitation goals. What You'll Do Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Assist patients recovering from injury, surgery, illness, or physical disability. Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve strength, mobility, balance, and overall function. Monitor patient progress and communicate observations to the supervising Physical Therapist. Educate patients and families regarding exercises, treatment plans, and home programs. Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Promote a culture of patient safety, quality care, and exceptional customer service. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members. What We're Looking For Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current PTA license/certification in the State of Montana (or ability to obtain prior to start date). Current BLS certification - 90 days after hire. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
