Job Duties Include:

Assisting physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients. Administering prescribed therapeutic exercises and modalities under the direction of a licensed physical therapist. Monitoring patient progress and communicating any changes or concerns to the supervising physical therapist. Educating patients and their families on home exercise programs and strategies for improving mobility and reducing pain. Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with clinic policies and state regulations. Ensuring patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions. Assisting with the setup and maintenance of therapeutic equipment, treatment areas, and around the clinic. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients. Participating in mentorship and continuing education opportunities to further clinical skills.

Qualifications:

Must be a licensed PTA in North Carolina, maintain current licensure and provide license annually. Must be able to lift, sit, stand, walk, push, pull, stoop, squat, bend and reach using good body mechanics. Must practice and abide by HIPAA and State Privacy regulations.
