Physical Therapy Assistant (Pediatric)

What sets us apart is our ability to provide all pediatric services under one roof and our team approach to patient care. We provide Occupational, Physical, Speech, and ABA Therapy services to children birth to 18 years of age in our 18 clinics using a play-based model. As a Physical Therapy Assistant with us, you will be assisting children reach their full potential and be committed to evidence-based practices. We are looking for an energetic, growth-minded Physical Therapist with pediatric experience that enjoys the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of children and is creative in educating the children's guardian/family. Physical Therapy Assistant (Pediatric)Requirements & Responsibilities:
1 year of previous pediatric experience is preferred; new graduates will be considered. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. Active North Carolina Licensure in good standing. Pass a Background Check. Accurate documentation in EMR system. Provide skilled physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Maintain a safe and compliant treatment environment. Communicate patient status and report changes to the Physical Therapist or referring physician. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and daily activities. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team. Physical Demands The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is also frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to assist patients in standing/sitting; reach with hands and arms. Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs. is also required.
