Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient service and support the chiropractic practice in various administrative and clinical capacities. This is a dynamic opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a fast-paced medical setting and contribute to the well-being of our patients. Our operating hours are Sunday
  • Thursday and applicants must be able to work our full schedule. Duties
  • Manage the front desk, greeting patients, and answering phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, preparing treatment rooms, and ensuring the smooth flow of the practice.
  • Maintain accurate and organized patient records, including medical histories and billing information.
  • Support the chiropractors and other medical professionals with patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and providing guidance on post-treatment instructions.
  • Utilize medical terminology and administrative software, such as Chirotouch to perform administrative tasks and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide exceptional patient service, addressing concerns and answering questions in a timely and compassionate manner.
  • Assist with billing and insurance claims, ensuring prompt payment and minimizing errors.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, photocopying, and data entry.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control policies and ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices. Skills
  • Speak and understand Spanish a plus.
  • Experience in front desk and patient service roles.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and the ability to understand medical records and patient histories.
  • Experience in urgent care or chiropractic settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a medical field is an asset.
