1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week post-acute care assignment on a Physical Therapy unit. Details Post-acute care setting, working within a Physical Therapy unit Day shift, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday or alternative days as requested 13-week contract Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience as a PTA required; no exceptions Current BLS certification required Active PTA license required if applicable Driver's license required for consideration 2 professional references required for consideration: one supervisor from within the last 12 months, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years — both must include dates of employment and eligibility for rehire Additional Information Candidates must reside more than 80 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates; local candidates are accepted at a different rate Charting is performed using a computerized system
