$2,608/40 hrs Requirements Valid, active Physical Therapy Assistant state license Scope of duties Assist the Physical Therapist with patient evaluations, medical history collection, and goal setting Implement prescribed interventions, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to improve mobility, strength, and flexibility Operate therapeutic equipment and administer modalities per plan of care Instruct patients and family members on exercise programs, home programs, and techniques to support recovery Document treatments, patient responses, and progress accurately and timely in the medical record Communicate and coordinate with the PT and the interdisciplinary care team regarding treatment plans and patient status Follow safety and infection control policies and maintain a clean therapy environment Provide patient encouragement and support to promote engagement in therapy Perform other duties as assigned by management
