In this energetic and rewarding position, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to implement personalized care plans in outpatient clinic. Your expertise in physiotherapy techniques and patient care will directly contribute to improved patient outcomes and enhanced quality of life. Duties Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and executing individualized treatment plans. Implement therapeutic interventions such as trigger point therapy, manual therapy techniques, and exercise programs tailored to each patient's needs. Monitor patient progress during therapy sessions, document responses, and communicate updates to the supervising therapist. Support discharge planning by preparing patients for their transition home or to other care settings through education and skill-building activities. Maintain accurate records of treatments provided, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations. Educate patients and caregivers on physiotherapy exercises, injury prevention strategies, and post-treatment care routines. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Qualifications Certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) from an accredited program is required. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and physiotherapy principles. Experience working in inpatient settings or skilled nursing facilities is highly preferred. Familiarity with outpatient clinics, home health services, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and acute care environments. Proficiency in implementing care plans that include trigger point therapy and other manual therapy techniques. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and coordinate with healthcare teams.
