Job Description
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and personable Part-Time Operations Manager / Chiropractic Assistant to help oversee the day-to-day operations of our chiropractic office while providing exceptional support to our patients and chiropractic team. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, taking initiative, and helping a healthcare practice run efficiently. The ideal candidate is professional, compassionate, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing administrative, operational, and patient-care support responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Practice Operations Help manage the daily flow and operations of the chiropractic office Ensure the office is organized, clean, welcoming, and running efficiently Open and/or close the office as needed Coordinate schedules, appointments, and patient flow Monitor office supplies and place orders when needed Assist with office procedures, systems, and workflow improvements Help maintain consistent policies and procedures Communicate operational needs or concerns to the chiropractor/practice owner Patient & Front Desk Support Welcome patients and provide a warm, professional experience Answer phones, respond to messages, and assist with patient inquiries Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments Check patients in and out Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Collect payments and assist with basic billing/insurance-related administrative tasks, as applicable Follow up with patients regarding appointments and practice communications Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times Chiropractic Assistant Duties Assist the chiropractor with patient flow and treatment-room setup Maintain treatment rooms and ensure necessary equipment and supplies are ready Help create a positive, encouraging, and professional patient experience Qualifications Previous manager or supervisor experience required Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working with patients and providing friendly, professional service Strong attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy office environment Comfortable learning and using scheduling, electronic health record, and office software Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and follow applicable privacy requirements Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who is organized, proactive, personable, and trustworthy. You don't need to know everything on day one—we are looking for someone who is eager to learn, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and genuinely enjoys helping people. A background in chiropractic care, healthcare administration, fitness, wellness, or customer service is a plus.
