Job Description

Advanced Rehabilitation System (ARS), a therapist owned private practice, employs PTs, OTs, SLPs, & other allied health professionals. Associates work for ARS in traditional outpatient locations, medical day centers, multi specialty clinics, and hospitals. Candidates that apply must hold active Physical Therapy Assistant NJ License or be in process of licensure. ARS works as an outpatient team treating post acute patients requiring long term services. Patients at this location specifically have non-neurodegenerative neurological diagnosis (i.e.
TBI, ABI, CVA
etc). The candidate joins a robust team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, cognitive rehabilitation specialists, vocational therapists, recreational therapists, social workers, case managers, support staff, and administrative staff. ARS is looking to further clinical, state and federal initiatives promoting independence for patients as well as coordinated interdisciplinary care.
Physical Therapist Assistant Job Responsibilities:
Helps patient accomplish treatment plan by administering manual exercises, manual therapy, gait training, modalities, and using equipment as necessary. Documents patient care services by charting daily. Instructs patients in proper in-home exercises and therapies. Educates patients and other stakeholders updating progress.
Pay:
$30.00 - $45.00 per hour
