As a Check Out CA, you will assist in running our front office. Responsibilities include answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, payment collections, obtaining benefit details from insurance companies, creating financial care plans for patients, managing ledgers to make sure patients are paying, and enforcing office policies and procedures for our patients to ensure they get the most of their care in our office. If you are highly detail oriented, organized, friendly, and dedicated to providing a high level of customer care, we would like to meet you! Benefits/Perks In Office Paid Training Employee Discount Paid Time Off Hours •1-2 Weekend Shifts Per Month Required• Monday 7:30am-7pm Tuesday 8:30am-4pm Wednesday 7:30am-7pm Thursday 12:00pm-7pm Friday 7am-1pm Weekend Hours Required (hours subject to change depending on event scheduled) Responsibilities Greet patients as they arrive at the clinic Answer inquiries via texts, phone calls, and email Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel appointments Perform data entry and maintain accurate records Interview patients to obtain personal and medical information Verify payment methods and process payments Contact insurance companies to obtain benefits Manage patient ledger accounts Maintain the cleanliness of the office Qualifications High school diploma/GED required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Previous receptionist or insurance experience, preferably in a health care setting Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Proficient in math and problem solving
