00 Who we are : Kindred Hospital East New Jersey is a long-term acute care hospital offering the same in depth care you would receive in a traditional hospital, but for an extended recovery period. We partner with your physician and offer 24-hour clinical care seven days a week so you can start your journey to wellness. We are located close to transit bus and train lines and major highways, including I-95, and Garden State Parkway NJ-3 and NJ-21. How you'll contribute Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, provides physical therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover and maintain physical mobility/function. Essential Functions Implement treatment plan developed by supervising therapists using appropriate modalities. Seeks consultation as necessary. Monitors patient's responses to the treatment plan. Regularly communicates patient progress and possible goal revisions to the physical therapist. Documents services provided and patient response/progress. Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits. Assists with patient discharge planning. Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and community support programs. Additional Information Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Education:
Associate's degree Required; Graduate of a Program in
