Our experienced SNF healthcare provider is committed to delivering exceptional care, and we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PTA to join our team.
  • About the
Role:
  • As a PTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to design and implement individualized treatment plans for our residents.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Providing physical therapy services to residents, including exercises, stretches, and other rehabilitative interventions
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of treatment plans
  • Monitoring resident progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
  • Communicating effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of resident treatment
  • Responsibilities:
  • Treat residents with a variety of conditions, including but not limited to: joint replacements, stroke, brain injury, and Parkinson's disease
  • Work closely with physical therapists to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Perform various therapeutic modalities, such as heat, cold, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations of residents' physical abilities
  • Develop and implement training programs to educate residents and their families on various rehabilitation techniques and exercises
