Customer service oriented out-patient Physical Therapy Clinic seeking dynamic, friendly, energetic Physical Therapy Technician to join our team 30-35 hours per week. This is more than a job, but a family of like-minded team members that focus on the patients and their recovery. Ideal candidate will have a heart to serve, a bright personality, strong communication skills, be reliable, have the ability to multitask, keep calm under pressure, and be a team player. Previous experience as a physical therapy tech / aide preferred. No Weekends. Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred. Competitive hourly wage based on experience PLUS bonus program. Duties may include, but are not limited, to: Preparing patients for physical therapy treatment by welcoming, comforting, and/or assisting patient into physical therapy area. Providing information to patients by answering questions and requests. Helps treat patients by applying cold/heat packs, ESU; helping patients onto exercise equipment; monitoring motion; tracking walking time and distance; performing PT prescribed exercises and strengthening techniques. Educating patients by demonstrating proper use of equipment and exercise routines. Maintaining patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. Maintaining safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Providing equipment and supplies by sterilizing and delivering equipment and supplies to treatment area; positioning equipment for therapist access; positioning patient on equipment. Light daily cleaning duties. Updates job knowledge by continued learning on the job; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

From $13.00 per hour
