Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physical Therapy Assistant at Rise Physical Therapy and Wellness. Here you will play a vital role in helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to implement personalized care plans to our growing community. Your expertise in physical therapy techniques and patient-centered care will contribute to positive outcomes and enhanced patient satisfaction. Duties Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and executing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities, including trigger point therapy, to promote healing and mobility. Monitor patient progress and document responses to treatments accurately in medical records. Support discharge planning by preparing patients for transition to home or other care settings through education and follow-up instructions. Provide compassionate patient care across various environments such as inpatient units, outpatient clinics, home health visits, and skilled nursing facilities. Educate patients and their families on physiotherapy techniques, safety measures, and injury prevention strategies. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery for diverse populations including orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and neurologic patients. Skills Strong knowledge of physiology and human anatomy to effectively assist with treatment procedures. Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices. Experience with outpatient clinics, inpatient settings, home health services, or skilled nursing facilities is highly preferred. Skilled in various physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and manual therapy methods. Ability to develop and follow detailed care plans for diverse patient populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, orthopedics, and acute care cases. Excellent communication skills to educate patients and coordinate with healthcare teams effectively. Familiarity with discharge planning processes and documentation standards within healthcare environments. Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
