This position offers the opportunity to work with residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting while helping them improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of the supervising Physical Therapist Assist residents with gait training, transfer training, therapeutic exercise programs, and balance activities Support individualized treatment plans designed to help residents achieve functional goals Monitor resident response to treatment and communicate progress and concerns to the PT Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team members to support quality resident care Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards

Qualifications:
