•PRN Ohman Family Living is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for our home health team in Geauga County, Ohio. $44

•48 per visit As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to help patients recover strength, mobility, and independence in the comfort of their own homes. Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities:

Carry out physical therapy treatment plans designed by the PT to improve strength, mobility, balance, and coordination Guide home health patients through therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility Educate patients and caregivers on safety techniques and use of assistive devices Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes to the supervising PT Complete clinical documentation in compliance with home health and Medicare regulations

PTA Qualifications:

Active PTA license (Physical Therapist Assistant) in the state of Ohio Home health, rehab, or outpatient physical therapy experience preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong critical thinking and observation skills Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude Valid driver's license with reliable vehicle and car insurance Ability to work independently and travel to patient homes Must pass a background check

Schedule:

PRN / Per Diem, flexible hours, work-life balance

Pay:

$44.00

•$48.00 per hour
