We're seeking a compassionate and organized Operational Chiropractic Assistant to support our practitioners and enhance patient experiences. This role is an outstanding opportunity for individuals passionate about holistic health — including those pursuing or preparing for careers in medicine, chiropractic, PA, NP, or other healthcare fields — to gain meaningful, hands-on clinical and operational experience in an integrative wellness setting. Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Operational Chiropractic Assistant to join our dynamic team at Advanced Wellness. As a pivotal part of our thriving practice, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the seamless operation of our office. This role is comparable to a Medical Assistant position in a traditional medical office, with the added dimension of working within an integrative, whole-body wellness model. Key Responsibilities Patient Care Specialist:
Prioritize the patient experience, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment.Perform Patient Histories and Initial Exam Scans:
Conduct initial assessments of patients, including gathering medical histories and performing necessary diagnostic scans to support personalized care plans.Prepare Diagnosis and Care Plan Documentation:
Collaborate with the doctor to accurately document patient diagnoses and develop individualized care plans.Document Patient Visit Notes:
Maintain accurate and detailed SOAP (Subjective, Objective, Assessment and Plan) notes of patient visits and treatments.Manage Doctor's Schedule:
Coordinate and manage appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling and minimizing wait times.Stocking Supplies:
Monitor and replenish supplies in exam rooms and office spaces, ensuring the practice operates efficiently and is always prepared.Exceptional Organizational Skills:
Maintain orderly patient records, scheduling systems, and office supplies inventory.Basic Google Suite and Computer Literacy:
Utilize computer software for scheduling, documentation, and communication purposes. The ideal candidate will have the following traits: Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for holistic health. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Previous experience in a healthcare, medical assistant, wellness, or patient-facing role is a plus but not required.
