What You'll Do As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll work alongside our Physical Therapists to help patients improve mobility, restore function, and achieve their rehabilitation goals. Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering high-quality physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist Guiding and encouraging patients throughout their rehabilitation journey Educating patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans, exercises, and injury prevention Assisting with discharge planning to ensure continued success after therapy Completing accurate documentation and supporting department operations, including billing Collaborating with an amazing interdisciplinary team dedicated to outstanding patient care We're Looking for Someone Who... Has a genuine passion for helping others Communicates with compassion, professionalism, and confidence Enjoys working as part of a supportive team Is organized with strong time management skills Can safely assist patients with mobility and therapeutic activities Thrives in a positive, patient-focused environment What You'll Need Education Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Licensure Current Ohio Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) license Experience & Skills Ability to provide physical therapy services appropriate for patients across various ages and developmental levels Strong clinical judgment, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail Physical ability to assist with patient mobility and therapeutic equipment Why ABC?
