Job Description

Category Schools - PTA Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school-based role where your skills as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) can make a meaningful difference. In this contract opportunity, you'll collaborate closely with an onsite Physical Therapist to deliver exceptional support to students across an educational service district. Enjoy the variety of working with different schools as you travel up to 150 miles weekly—providing critical services throughout the region.
What You'll Bring:
Current PTA licensure and credentials appropriate for school settings Previous experience in a pediatric, educational, or school-based environment preferred (at least one year ideal, though motivated new grads will be considered) Strong communication skills for collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and engaging students, staff, and parents Valid driver's license and comfort with significant weekly travel Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to working across multiple sites
Your Responsibilities:
Implement therapy interventions under the direction of the onsite Physical Therapist Support students in achieving their physical therapy goals as outlined in IEPs Accurately document progress and maintain records in compliance with district standards Collaborate with educational staff and families to create positive learning environments Travel within the service area, managing a rotating weekly schedule among schools Benefits of the
