Job Description

Category Schools - PTA Job Type Contract A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a licensed Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant in a school setting located in The Dalles, OR. This role offers the chance to support students by providing therapeutic services tailored to their individual needs within the educational environment. The position requires collaboration with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to promote optimal physical functioning and participation.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver physical therapy services to students based on individual treatment plans. Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs). Monitor and document student progress to ensure effective interventions. Participate in professional development and training to stay current with best practices. Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and school policies.
Qualifications:
Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant. Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Proven experience working as a Physical Therapist or Assistant, preferably within a school environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
