Qualifications:

PA Certification as Physical Therapy Assistant. Completion of 2-year accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. Experience in geriatrics is preferred. Certified Physical Therapy Assistant -

Job Summary:

Treat residents under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Document weekly notes, monthly notes, and statistics. Train nursing staff and families regarding proper positioning and carry over of PT program. Discuss treatment plans and goals with Physical Therapist. Modify/adapt wheelchair part(s) and accessories, modifies splints or other assistive devices for residents. This is a brief overview of job responsibilities and not intended to be all inclusive.
