Per-Diem Physical Therapist Assistant Location:
Westminster Woods | Huntingdon, PA Looking for Something Different? If you're a Physical Therapist Assistant who believes great care starts with connection and is passionate about working with older adults in order to keep them active, independent and aid in their recovery, we would love to meet you. We're welcoming weekday and weekend Per-Diem PTAs to our team at Westminster Woods, a senior living community known for its personalized, resident-centered care. This position offers exceptional flexibility with no minimum monthly commitment. We simply ask that team members remain active by providing coverage at least once every six months. What You'll Do Provide high-quality physical therapy treatments under the direction of the Physical Therapist Help residents improve strength, mobility, balance, safety, and confidence Support residents in maintaining their independence and quality of life Deliver care in an environment that values outcomes over volume Document patient progress using Net Health and facility systems Collaborate with residents, families, nursing, and interdisciplinary team members Bring professionalism, compassion, and kindness to every interaction What You'll Bring Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing A genuine passion for working with older adults Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset A team-oriented approach and commitment to quality care What We Offer Flexible scheduling Supportive clinical leadership Opportunities to collaborate with experienced PT, OT, and ST professionals Meaningful one-on-one resident interactions A positive, relationship-centered therapy culture
