Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Richland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center Join our team and make a difference in the lives of our patients! Richland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, a leading provider of healthcare services in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our interdisciplinary care team. As a PTA, you will play a vital role in assisting our licensed Physical Therapists in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our residents. Responsibilities:
Assist Physical Therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for our residents Conduct routine exercises, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by our Physical Therapy team Monitor and record patient progress, reporting changes to our Physical Therapy team Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment, including notes, charts, and reports Collaborate with our interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care Participate in patient education and discharge planning Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment, adhering to our center's infection control and safety protocols
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program CPR certification Valid PTA license in the state of Pennsylvania Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
