A Physical Therapy Assistant assists physical therapists to help patients with disabling injuries or conditions improve their range of motion and manage their pain. Helps patients learn exercises and teaches them to use therapeutic equipment. Works in the office of a physical therapist or in a healthcare facility.

Job Description
Duties:
- Administer therapeutic modalities, such as electric stimulation, heat, or cold therapy
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas
- Assist chiropractors in providing patient care
- Schedule appointments, answer phone as needed, and manage patient records (these duties are mostly when the front desk is busy or out sick/vacation)
- Potential to learn some insurance and billing responsibilities if candidate is interested
- Must be comfortable talking to patients as well as direct patient physical contact while placing electrical stimulation pads!
- We bring our very well behaved hypoallergenic dog into work with us every day as a therapy dog, so candidates must be ok with dogs!
Experience:
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide excellent patient service
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, but not required

- Monday
- 8:45AM-1:00PM, 1:30PM-6:00PM
- Tuesday
- 8:45AM-1:00PM, 1:30PM-5:00PM
- Wednesday
- 8:45AM-1:00PM, 1:30PM-6:00PM
- Some Thursday afternoons (1:00PM-6:00PM)
- Friday
- 8:45AM-1:00PM, 1:30PM-5:00
