Job DescriptionAre you a compassionate and detail-oriented Physical Therapist Assistant ready to make a real difference in patients' lives? We're looking for an enthusiastic professional to join our dynamic team in Monroeville, Pennsylvania. In this role, you'll work collaboratively with experienced Physical Therapists to deliver exceptional patient care in a supportive, goal-oriented environment. Implement individualized treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and patient educationProvide direct patient care in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and attention to detailInstruct patients on proper exercise techniques, body mechanics, and home exercise programs to support their recovery and independenceMaintain accurate and timely patient documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic standardsCommunicate effectively with patients, Physical Therapists, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality careMonitor patient progress and report observations to supervising Physical Therapists to support treatment plan adjustmentsAssist with clinic operations and patient flow management, demonstrating strong organizational and multi-tasking abilitiesMaintain a clean, safe, and efficient treatment environmentSupport patients with compassion and encouragement throughout their rehabilitation journeyStay current with best practices in physical therapy and contribute to a culture of continuous improvementQualificationsGraduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant programCurrent Pennsylvania Physical Therapist Assistant license or ability to begin the licensing process promptlyAHA or Red Cross BLS CPR certificationOutpatient orthopedic experience, including exercise instruction and manual therapy techniques (preferred)Sports rehabilitation or injury prevention experience (preferred)Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse patient populationsStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple patients and tasks efficientlyPhysical stamina and ability to perform hands-on patient care and demonstrate exercisesSelf-directed work ethic with a proactive approach to problem-solving and clinic efficiencyDemonstrated ability to follow treatment protocols and work collaboratively within a team-based environmentKnowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality requirementsCompassionate, empathetic approach to patient care with a commitment to supporting patient goals and outcomesAdaptability and resilience in a fast-paced clinical settingStrong attention to detail in documentation and patient care delivery
