Physical Therapist Assistant -Outpatient PRN Location:
205 Hampton Ave, Punxsutawney, PA 15767Schedule:
PRN, weekdays (Mon-Fri)Compensation:
$26.00 - $30.00/hour, commensurate with experience Whether you're a seasoned PTA or a new grad, we welcome you! Indirect supervision experience is helpful but not mandatory. You'll work with a varied patient population—orthopedic, sports med, neuro, vestibular, concussion, industrial, POETS and fall prevention. Plus, per diem therapists receive free access to 300+ APTA-accredited continuing education courses annually. If interested, additional coverage options include: Indiana, DuBois, Brockway and Houtzdale centers. We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team. This role is perfect for a licensed PTA with outpatient experience who values work-life balance. We'll pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you. Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act. Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.Qualifications:
College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process) CPR certificationAdditional Data:
