Kinzua Nursing and Rehab, nestled in the heart of The Allegheny National Forest, has been an integral part of the Warren community for over 40 years. Our dedicated team is committed to providing an active resident experience and quality care in a home-like environment.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team on a per diem basis. As a PTA with Kinzua Nursing and Rehab, you will have the opportunity to work with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to our patients.
Responsibilities:
Assist physical therapists in the implementation and modification of treatment plans Conduct physical therapy treatments and modalities under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist Monitor and record patient progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the physical therapist Maintain accurate records of treatments and patient data Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program preferred Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program Current PTA certification in the state of Pennsylvania 0-2 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA); willingness to learn and grow with our team
