Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing healthcare team in West Union. As a vital member of our rehabilitation services, you will provide exceptional patient care while working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal therapeutic outcomes.

Perform therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniquesImplement evidence-based treatment protocols and monitor patient progressDocument patient care and maintain detailed medical recordsEducate patients and families about rehabilitation processes and home exercise programsCollaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient careAssess and adjust treatment plans under therapist supervision based on patient progressMaintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patientsUtilize various therapeutic modalities and equipmentParticipate in team meetings and care coordination discussionsQualificationsGraduate from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant programCurrent Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of practiceValid CPR certificationMinimum of one year outpatient orthopedic experienceStrong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and therapeutic modalitiesExcellent understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanicsProven ability to maintain accurate patient documentationSuperior interpersonal and communication skillsDemonstrated problem-solving and clinical decision-making abilitiesPhysical stamina and manual dexterity to assist patients with exercisesStrong commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional developmentAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentAdditional InformationCompetitive salaryExcellent benefits package including 401k, health, dental, generous paid time off, and more.
