Day Shift (United States of America) Position Highlights Brookings Health System is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at our Long Term Care Facility, The Neighborhoods at Brookview! Compensation range for this PRN position is $22.42 to $33.19, depending on experience. The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) provides skilled support under the direction of a Physical Therapist (PT) to help individuals improve mobility, strength, and functional independence.
JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising PT. Provide therapeutic exercises, gait and transfer training, and functional mobility activities. Monitor the individual's progress and report outcomes to the supervising PT. Educate individuals, families, and caregivers on exercise and safety. Assist in maintaining therapy equipment and supplies.
QUALIFICATIONS, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Associates degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. Current state licensure - new graduates will be considered. CPR required or obtained within 60 days of employment. Possess a valid driving license and capable of being covered by insurance.
