Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physical Therapy Technician and play a vital role in supporting patient recovery and mobility. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will assist licensed physical therapists in delivering high-quality care to diverse patient populations across inpatient, outpatient, and post-acute settings. Responsibilities Prepare treatment areas and assist physical therapists with patient setup for therapy sessions Support patients during exercises by providing encouragement and ensuring proper technique under supervision Monitor patient responses during therapy, noting any discomfort or adverse reactions to report to the therapist Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and session details Assist with patient intake procedures, including gathering medical history and explaining therapy processes Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy equipment and treatment spaces Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate care plans for inpatient, outpatient, or post-acute patients Qualifications Demonstrated commitment to patient service and patient care excellence Basic knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy Experience working in hospital, clinic, or outpatient settings preferred; inpatient or acute care experience highly valued Familiarity with orthopedic, geriatrics, or sub-acute care environments is advantageous Strong communication skills to effectively support patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols in clinical settings Prior experience with intake procedures and post-acute care processes is a plus Embark on a fulfilling career path where your dedication to patient well-being can truly shine.
