Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and bilingual Spanish Chiropractic Certified Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical office support, patient care, and chiropractic assisting, with the ability to communicate fluently in both Spanish and English. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient well-being while supporting the daily operations of a busy chiropractic practice. Duties Greet and assist patients in both Spanish and English, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. Manage patient intake processes, including collecting medical histories, vital signs, and updating electronic health records (EHR). Support chiropractors with clinical tasks such as documenting medical notes, assisting with procedures, and preparing treatment rooms. Handle administrative responsibilities including appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and maintaining accurate medical documentation. Assist with patient education on treatment plans, medication instructions, and post-visit care in both languages. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information. Support clinic operations by managing inventory of supplies, coordinating referrals, and maintaining organized medical records. Requirements Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is essential for effective communication with diverse patient populations. Certified as a chiropractic assistant or equivalent healthcare certification is required. Prior experience in medical office management or clinical support within dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, or similar settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, pharmacology, and EMR/EHR systems is necessary. Demonstrated ability to perform clinical tasks such as vital signs collection, phlebotomy, medication administration, and basic life support (BLS). Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and record-keeping. Experience working within hospital environments or emergency medicine settings is advantageous.
