PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Sweetwater Hospital Home Health Employment Type:
PRN (As Needed) We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing home health team on a PRN basis. In this role, you will work one-on-one with patients in the comfort of their homes, helping them regain mobility, improve function, and achieve their rehabilitation goals under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Responsibilities Provide physical therapy treatments as outlined in the patient's plan of care. Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist. Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety techniques, and home programs. Accurately document patient visits in accordance with agency and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care. Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and agency policies. Qualifications Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of practice. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current CPR certification. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance. Previous home health experience is preferred but not required.
