Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

This role is designed for the clinician ready to advance their skillset under experienced leadership. At Farmersville Health and Rehabilitation, we focus on clinical excellence and providing our therapy team with the resources needed to deliver high-quality patient care. You will work alongside a tenured Director of Rehab and a collaborative interdisciplinary team to implement specialized treatment plans in a professional, clinical setting.

Pay, Schedule and Benefits Pay Rate:

$35

• $38 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule:

Monday

• Friday, 8am-5pm

Qualifications Valid Texas Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license. Current CPR certification. 1+ year of experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care environment preferred. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. Skills Strong communication skills with patients, families, and physicians. Ability to document treatments accurately using electronic medical records. Commitment to patient advocacy and safety. Responsibilities Provide physical therapy treatments to residents according to the established care plan. Document patient progress, setbacks, and daily treatment notes. Coordinate with the Physical Therapist to adjust treatments based on resident response. Educate residents and family members on safety techniques and home exercise programs. Assist with functional mobility training and the use of assistive devices. Atmosphere and Environment Farmersville Health and Rehabilitation is a 74 bed facility that offers a smaller, more intimate setting for both staff and residents. This environment allows for more personalized patient interaction and a manageable pace for our therapy department. Our building features dedicated therapy spaces and updated equipment to support rehabilitation goals.
