Overview Physical Therapy Assistant needed for a 13-week travel assignment in Hamlin, TX, starting 06/01/2026. Earn $1,466-$1,572 per week with 40 guaranteed hours per week in a day shift (8-hour days) at a long-term care/nursing home setting.

Setting:

Long-term care / nursing home Responsibilities Under the direction of physical therapists, treat patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions. Record patients' progress and report treatment results to the supervising physical therapist. Implement treatment plans and adjust as directed by the physical therapist. Monitor patient responses, ensure safety during therapy sessions, and support functional mobility and balance activities. Maintain accurate documentation of care and update patient records in accordance with policies and HIPAA. Collaborate with the physical therapy team and care staff to coordinate care and communicate patient status.
