We are focused on providing the best health care experience for those in need and developing relationships throughout the community. We offer a complete and well rounded soft tissue and rehabilitation program. The clinic is well positioned to provide therapies for participating medical, chiropractic, physical therapy, extremity orthopedic, spine, pain management, other specialties, allowing for an immediate, constant and diversified flow of new and existing patients. We are looking for a patient care coordinator who is ready to be part of an amazing clinic system that is growing, open minded, and willing to learn.
Hours of Operation:
Part-Time position: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday — 19-21 hours/week
Monday & Thursday:
8:45AM•12:00PM; 1:30PM•6:00
PM Tuesday :
1:30PM•6:00
PM Compensation:
Position offers a hourly rate plus incentives. The hourly rate is based on experience but can start with a range of approximately $16.00•$18.00/hr. There will be the ability to have the financial outlook grow to a salaried position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming manner Answer and manage incoming phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments Verify patient information and maintain accurate records within the clinic management system Collect payments, process transactions, and assist with basic billing duties Verify insurance benefits and assist with obtaining necessary patient documentation Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and protect patient confidentiality at all times Coordinate communication between patients, providers, attorneys, and insurance companies when needed Assist with patient intake forms and ensure all required documentation is completed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front office and reception area Support clinic operations by assisting providers and staff with administrative tasks as needed Deliver excellent customer service and create a positive patient experience throughout each visit Work collaboratively with the clinical and administrative team to ensure efficient daily operations Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Competency:
Candidates must perform front desk and patient care coordinator duties with purpose and determination to provide the best service possible. Candidate that is going to grow with the practice.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous receptionist, front desk, customer service, or medical office experience preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment Strong organizational and time management skills Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn scheduling/EHR software Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Comfortable answering phones, scheduling patients, and handling administrative tasks Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times Experience with insurance verification, personal injury cases, or chiropractic offices preferred but not required Ability to provide exceptional patient service and create a welcoming environment for all patients
Education/Experience:
Medical Receptionist Experience is appreciated but not necessary for job position. Knowledge about medical insurance strongly recommended High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times Experience with insurance verification, personal injury cases, or chiropractic offices preferred but not required
