  • PRN Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our aquatics staff.
In this vital role, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to deliver high-quality rehabilitative care to diverse patient populations. Your expertise will help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life in the aquatic setting . This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' recovery journeys while expanding your skills in physical therapy and patient care. Responsibilities Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Provide hands-on therapy techniques such as, therapeutic exercises, and manual therapy to promote healing and mobility. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment approaches under supervision to optimize outcomes. Educate patients and their families on exercises, injury prevention strategies, and discharge planning procedures. Support patients across various populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, & orthopedics, Maintain accurate medical terminology records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, facilitate smooth transitions between care settings, and support discharge planning efforts. Qualifications Valid licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in accordance with state regulations. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques. Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with patients and staff.
