Job Description
•This job is for licensed Physical Therapist Assistants only.•We are thrilled to announce a full time Physical Therapist Assistant position in beautiful Payson, UT. We are a looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant to work at our SNF and help our patients meet all of their treatment goals. We empower therapists to decide what their patients need, and allow enough time in their day to deliver. There are no 15 minute encounters, we do not schedule at 125% production, and we encourage our therapists to spend the time to ensure each patient receives the care they require. Our Physical Therapist Assistant will be responsible for the following: Counsel patients and their families on what to do following treatment. Observe the patients they are working with before, during and after therapy and report notes to the Physical Therapist. Assign specific exercises for the patient and help the patients do these exercises. Use devices, such as walkers, and other equipment to help patients regain movement and reduce pain. Use a variety of techniques, including stretching exercises and massage, to treat patients. Assist patients when moving to and from the therapy area.
