Inova Physical Therapy - Chantilly East is looking for Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) to join our outstanding team. This role is Part-Time (20 hrs/week), Day shifts, Monday-Friday with two evening shifts per week until 7:00pm Inova is consistently ranked a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience. Job Responsibilities:
The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant 1 adheres to department policies regarding time frame, appropriate form, and content of written rehabilitation documentation. Communicate effectively with patients, family, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts. Completes all administrative and other responsibilities in support of the operating unit. Demonstrates essential skill in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols. Performs reassessments according to state and facility guidelines, while adjusting treatment plans accordingly. May perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Associate degree from a licensed physical therapy assistant program.
Experience:
Graduate of a licensed physical therapy assistant program, new graduate of a licensed physical therapy assistant program
Certification:
BLS from the American Heart Association required upon start.
Licensed:
VA License Physical Therapy Assistant required upon start
