We are seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient rehabilitation team in Floyd, Virginia. At H2 Health Floyd, you'll work with a diverse patient population across the lifespan, including orthopedic, post-surgical, sports medicine, balance and mobility, and functional rehabilitation patients. This role offers the opportunity to treat pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients while working alongside experienced rehabilitation professionals who value teamwork, compassion, and evidence-based care. Your Role Physical Therapist (PT) Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving function and quality of life. Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. Collaborate with physicians, patients, caregivers, and referral sources to ensure coordinated care. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate. Maintain accurate and timely documentation while supporting an exceptional patient experience. Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist. Deliver therapeutic exercise, functional training, balance activities, manual techniques, and patient education. Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress with the Physical Therapist. Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, and independence. Complete timely documentation and contribute to a positive patient experience. Requirements Physical Therapist (PT) Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent legacy degree (MSPT/MPT/BPT) from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program. Current Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure. Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and interpersonal skills. Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care. Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current Virginia Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for licensure.
