Job Description
Join our team at VHS Rehabilitation as a Rehab Technician. Proudly supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services Full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities available! Daily Pay!
Locations include:
Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg, Yorktown, Gloucester and Kilmarnock $18- 23/hour (all inclusive) At VHS Rehabilitation , we believe that rehabilitation services play a vital role in helping residents regain strength, independence, and quality of life.
Rehab Technician:
Assist Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), and Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) staff during therapy sessions. Prepare, set up, and clean therapy equipment and treatment areas to ensure safety and readiness for use. Escort residents to and from therapy sessions safely and promptly. Monitor resident safety during therapy activities and report any changes in condition to licensed therapy staff. Document resident participation and assist in maintaining accurate therapy records as directed. Maintain clean, organized, and efficient therapy spaces and equipment storage areas. Support therapists in encouraging resident engagement, motivation, and participation in rehabilitation activities. Qualifications forRehab Technician:
High school diploma or GED required. Valid CPR certification required. Previous experience in healthcare or skilled nursing preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to safely assist residents with mobility, transfers, and therapeutic exercises.
