Job Description
As our Physical Therapy Technician, you will help our clinical staff provide top of scope care and customer service to our patients. Every day you will work with patients during their visit, assist with front desk tasks and keep the clinic organized and clean. To thrive in this job, you don't need any prior experience or knowledge- just a desire to learn how a physical therapy practice operates and a go-getter attitude. We'll team you up with a Physical Therapist and Physical Therapist Assistant so they can mentor you and give you a strong understanding of the physical therapy field. Outpatient Physical Therapy employees 85 employees across 8 clinics in South King County and Pierce County. Founded 40 years ago by Physical Therapists, Outpatient Physical Therapy is a leading provider of outpatient physical and occupational therapy to residents of our local communities. Here's what might happen on a typical day: Transport and/or escort patients to the appropriate treatment room or space. Work with patients during their visit on warm up, guiding exercises or helping with cool down activities. Aide Patient Services Representatives on tasks such as in answering phones, checking patients in and/or scheduling patients. Keeping the clinic organized and clean sanitizing equipment and putting it back where it belongs! Must be fully vaccinated with the COVID vaccine by October 18, 2021 as mandated by Washington state.
