36 hours guaranteed; expectation to work up to 40 hours/week
Additional Requirements:
Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred. Will accept PTA candidates and first-time travelers. Will not accept new graduates. Productivity expectation is 60 visits/week, with 12-14 patients/day. Double-booking of follow-up visits is expected. OT must be approved by the director before any OT hours are worked.
Job Description:
Provide outpatient orthopedic physical therapy services in a clinical setting. The role involves evaluating and treating patients, managing a daily outpatient caseload, and meeting established productivity expectations.
Responsibilities:
Perform physical therapy evaluations and treatments. Provide outpatient orthopedic therapy services. Manage approximately 12-14 patients per day. Meet a productivity expectation of approximately 60 visits per week. Manage double-booked follow-up visits as required. Work 36 guaranteed hours per week, with the potential to work up to 40 hours. Obtain director approval before working any overtime. Maintain appropriate clinical documentation and patient care standards.
Must Have:
Physical Therapist Assistant qualification. Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred. Ability to meet outpatient productivity expectations. Ability to work the required day shift schedule. New graduates are not accepted. Required Experience / Licenses /
Certifications:
Relevant Physical Therapist Assistant experience and applicable state licensure/certification.
