As a non-profit Life Plan Community led by Christian values we have served older adults ages 55 and better in the Oshkosh community since 1967. We are dedicated to providing quality resident centered care.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to assist in implementing treatment plans, helping patients improve movement, manage pain, and regain physical function following injury, illness, or surgery.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement physical therapy treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist Instruct patients in exercises and functional activities Observe and document patient progress and responses to treatment Provide patient education and reinforce proper exercise techniques Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications:
Associate's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current state license or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment
