Physical Therapist Assistant

Dawn Injury & Wellness Center is looking to add a new PTA crew member to help our growing multi-discipline practice. We offer complimentary wellness services that work as a synergistic team in a fun, caring, and rewarding fast paced office with a goal of helping our patients live not only pain free but healthier and happier lives. Summary of Duties:

To assist the physical therapist in treatment of patients for outpatient physical therapy services by performing selected treatments, as directed by the physical therapist, training the patients appropriate exercises and activities of daily living, preparing the clinical environment for treatment, assist in data collection and documentation to support the delivery of physical therapy services. PTA may also help other multidisciplinary providers within the office.

Job Requirements:

Graduate of an associate degree program approved by the American Physical Therapy association for training of physical therapist assistant. Have good oral and written communication skills; be of good health and possess a high energy level; demonstrate a commitment to excellent "hands-on" patient care; and understand the teamwork relationship between the PT and PTA. Salary will be based upon qualifications, skills, experience and satisfaction of job requirements.
