Job Description
About the Role We are opening a new orthopedic urgent care clinic and are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) to join us as founding clinical providers . This is a unique opportunity to help build a clinic from the ground up —not just see patients, but help shape workflows, procedures, and best practices from day one. Ideal candidates are clinically confident, efficient, and motivated by both autonomy and performance-based incentives. What You'll Do Evaluate and treat acute orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries , including: Sprains, strains, fractures Sports injuries Minor dislocations Work- and activity-related injuries Order and interpret plain film X-rays Perform and assist with basic orthopedic procedures , including: Splinting and casting Joint injections (as credentialed) Wound care and minor procedures Provide timely, accurate documentation in the EMR Educate patients on treatment plans, recovery expectations, and follow-up care Collaborate closely with supervising physicians and referral orthopedic groups Participate in the development of clinical protocols, SOPs, and workflows Help establish a culture of efficiency, professionalism, and excellent patient experience
