In this vital role, you will provide high-quality patient care across a variety of clinical settings, collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Your expertise will help ensure comprehensive assessments, accurate diagnoses, and effective treatment plans to improve patient outcomes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in diverse environments, from acute care to outpatient clinics, utilizing your broad medical knowledge and clinical skills to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations, patient assessments, and vital signs documentation using electronic health records. Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with collaborative practice agreements and DEA regulations, including injection administration and botulinum toxin treatments when applicable. Participate in diagnostic evaluation by interpreting laboratory results, diagnostic tests (e.g., radiology imaging), and coding procedures using
ICD-10/ICD-9/CPT
coding standards for accurate documentation. Engage in clinical research or clinical trials to advance medical knowledge and improve treatment protocols. Provide health coaching and education on topics such as nutrition, addiction counseling, physical therapy. Experience Demonstrated proficiency with EMR systems. Strong background in acute care settings such as urgent care clinics or medical-surgical units with familiarity in pain management. Experience performing advanced procedures such as trigger point injections is a plus. Knowledge of healthcare diagnosis processes involving physiology knowledge and diagnostic test interpretation across diverse patient populations. Prior involvement in clinical research initiatives or public health projects that enhance evidence-based practice is highly valued.
